State of chaos
i have 6 containers on my desk each housing a single fry. 5 western mosquitofish and 1 mountain white cloud. i felt the water and it was COLD. how do i heat it??? i put each fry in a glass and put a back heating pad over them. how do i heat the container???

mosquitofish live in ditches around my area which freeze over in the winter and they live thru that abundantly. So if you have them in your house they will be fine unheated. And the white cloud comes from mountain streams with cold water so again they should be fine as well. I keep mosquitofish in a 55g unheated in a cold basement as feeders all year around.

Sounds like they would be fine at room temperature but another idea could be to float the small containers in a larger container like a plastic storage bin filled with water, then heat the water in the large container with a submersible heater.

Float the cups on top of your tank. I may have responded the same way last time you posted this question. I did the same with platy and guppy fry.
