HELP

i tried to keep pbass twice. the first time i bought a small one from a store in mississauga and it lasted for about a week then for some reason just died. then on a deal i got a real beauty, about a 12" one and it lasted 2 days and then i find it laying on the bottom one morning when i turned the light on.
my water is fine all my other fish have no problems...the water temp i keep around 80-83F.
is there something im missing...im currently making room in my 150 right now ad am considering getting a couple again, only if someone can tell me if im doing something wrong that is...thank you in advance

What size tank, are you acclimating the fish via drip? And what are the ACTUAL water peramaters?
 
havent checked the peramaters since last weekend. and my tank is a 150 and i acclimate them like i do all my other fish, let them, sit in the water in the bag for like 20 mins unless its a big fish then i slowly change the water in the container into the water from my tank. im not a new fish keeper just an...unlucky pbass keeper haha
 
Welcome to MFK Josh11. I agree check your parameters. Cant think of anything except maybe a big ph change. Post some other things like filtration,what you add when doing WC,how long the tank has ben running and stock. Sorry for your bad luck though.
 
the stock has changed sine then. right now i have 11 clown loaches, 5 pictus cats, a red tail shark and. im doin the small fish game right now..but i miss my big guys, red tail cat and my silver aro.
fluval 304, eheim pro2, another canister and 2 mechanicals on the back for an added bit of clarity. i wish i had one or 2 big filters instead of all mine but it does the trick.
i think im goin to try peacocks again if i can find some
