if you strip the inside and put a glob of silicone inside on the corner. That is about 1" thick in the corner and smoothly flows out to the glass on all 3 panes u will be fine.
I have a tank like this as well.
let it dry for about 1-2 weeks with 1" thick silicone.
With a standard 3/8" bead it takes about 48-72 hours to cure completely from what i have seen.
1 inch divided by 3/8" is 2.666
so 72hrs X 2.666 = 191.952hrs or 1 week and about 8 hours to cure.
And because a 1" thick glob will not have the same air contact as a 3/8" bead will for curing. I was thinking double would be a safe bet.
But just wait a week and push on it to see if it is hardened and the vinegear smell is gone.
It would be alot better to do this right the first time. Cause if you rush it and the seam is not cured it will fail and then you have to start over from scratch. And then wait the 2 weeks or so.
