yesterday ny HBRTG ate a little to much shrimp which resulted in a bit of a belly,
right after that i noticed a small red spot on his belly which looks like its under the scale.
what might it be?
he is 13 inches

a picture specks a 1000% words :D

ill try and get one asap
but what do you think it is?
its under the scale
he is normal now
wants to eat and is chasing me around the tank

i'm only speculating, but a red spot under the scales would make me think about internal bleeding, especially after a massive feeding. But, you have to consider other symptoms. If he's swimming around in a normal manner, I'd just keep him under observation. He might be fine. If he's lethargic, there could be an issue.

not massive feeding
just a bit of a belly came
he is more than normal
swimming fast wanting more food

i'd not sweat it. just keep him under observation. maybe he scraped himself on a rock or piece of drift wood. i thought you fed him considerably more than usual.
