HELP!

So my cusion has a channel catfish in a 20 gallon tank or something, And im going to setup a 250 gallon stock tank with a stock tank heater. And whats the temp for a channel if i want him to grow slowly??

Had a channel cat in out door pond when i was young, no heater, left him out under the ice in winter, grew very slowly.

channel cats are cold water fish, hence they are native to wyoming and almost every state nationwide. so they go into a hybernation stage when the water gets really cold, so really just keep the water above 30-40 degrees and you should have a thaw, healthy fish.
