HELP !!

i am building a 300 gallon ply tank (was doin all acrylic but changed my mind) i have a florida gar and a rtc. what would yal suggest to add to the collection ?
new to the whole monster fish scene so i dont know names or where to look up fish myself
just give me your opinion. i will greatly appreciate it

Nothing. The RTC will outgrow your 300 in about eight months.

i figureed that would be enough space for a while.

i was looking at pbass and dats
what is the most colorfull pbass?

Expect your RTC to grow 2' in the first year. As for bass, I would suggest you snag up larger bass at this point.

Anything that will fit in your RTC's mouth will be fair game... so anything you put with it.. be accepting of it's potential food status. same with the gar. 3x6 isn't a bad footprint but you'll want at least a 2' depth imo 3' would be best. the deeper you go the less likely of any tank-mates being in the same water depth as the RTC... the less often he thinks about his tank-mates as food. But I agree that the RTC will need about 2x that in the long-run.

yea thats what i was expecting. i think he would have enough space in a 3x6 tank. afetr they reach about 3 ft dont they slow donw alot
n yea thats my plan but i want one that is realy colrfull. wich kind has that amazing turquiose color ?

sorry about the double. yea i was planning on it bein 2ft high when it was goin to be all acrylic but now that ply is the plan i will go with three just to be safe. i am also never feeding my rtc live so maybe he wont think that swimmin fish are food. knock on wood
