I have two batches of newly hatched GTs in my tank but one mother is getting ick and the male is getting fin rot on his pectoral fins. Are there medicines that are safe to treat the tank with that wont kill the fry? I'd really like to save and grow out these little guys but if necessary the big guys come first. Please, any ideas would be helpful. Also, the Temp is at 82 and has been for a couple days and ammonia, nitrate, and nitrites are all at 0. Thanks in advance.

I'd get the fry into their rearing tank now. It will mean fewer survive, but if you remove the fry you can treat the parents.

Well, I was really wanting to watch the parenting process. I suppose I'll just take my chances and try some of the typical meds. If anyone knows of anything NOT to use that would be greatly appreciated to.
