when i went to feed my blue crayfish i noticed ehat looked like eggs!! how is that possible when there is no other mates for her in the tank? how long dose it take for the eggs to hatch. im totaly at a loss here. PLEASE HELP:confused:

Yes, they are not female or male, they reproduce on their own, lol. You will have tons of crays, congrats. They stick on the mom when they are born, it's cute. I "think" it takes two weeks to hatch but I've herd different things.

Keep us updated.

No. ONLY ONE cray can self produce. Crays can also store sperm. In your case your cray stored sperm. Yours is not the self cloning cray.

Only marble crayfish can and I have them. I have three that are pregnant.

Marble crays can be blue in soft water, so it's possible that it is a marble. Otherwise I'd guess it stored sperm from a previous relationship. Have any pics?

Congrats on the upcoming babies in either case. :)

Any updates? Did they hatch yet?

you know thats just cool how mother nature finds a way to make more for you and herself just amazing
