HELP!!!

About 3 weeks ago I got my 75 gallon tank all set up with not a single problem. Its right next to my couch where I sit everyday.........heres the problem and I am hoping that someone has had the same situation.

A few days ago I was sitting next to the tank and heard this squealing noise coming from the tank. It sounded like air being released from somewhere. I took apart my filter and checked all the tubing and there was nothing. It isn't a constant sound but it comes and goes and will give you the biggest freaking headache you could imagine. Not to mention I'm scared my tank has a weak spot at a joint and will come crashing to the ground.


Any similar experiences or thoughts on where the air is coming from????

What kind and model filter?

Why are you worried about the tank failing? Is it new or used?

Cascade 1000 filter.

I'm not worried about the tank falling, I'm worried about it having a weak spot and breaking therefore cause it to fall to the ground.

do u have any fish in the tank? my roomate's flowerhorns emit popping/squeaking sound when they eat pellets. it always freaks me out

Check to make sure your hose connections are tight and the filter doesn't have any air trapped in it.

Not trying to be rude, but did you read what I wrote? I already did all that.

Yes I am currently using the tank as a grow out for a Mono
