I just changed the filter for my Ehiem for the very first time. Now the water is so cloudy it literally looks like the fish tank got a centimeter of snow! Is this normal? Im worried about my fish!!

It's possible that what you are seeing is the biofilm/algae being flushed out of the hoses. This is normal and will soon be caught in the filter. It is not harmful to your fish.
Of course, this is assuming it is a canister filter. What exactly did you change in your filter?
