My buddy just asked me to post in this forum to ask why is this happening to his flowerhorn

well he was trying to breed his flowerhorn but he notice his "female" anus is sticking out and he doesnt know whats that mean? can anyone tell me what happend wit his female when her anus is sticking out like that?

and her stripe it turn really dark. he said he been puttin the male anf female for about 2weeks now and still no fry...

That's her breeding tube she's in breeding colors and getting ready to lay eggs. They should have picked a spot by now let's just hope the male fertilizes them. Make sure he keeps a good eye on them males are tricky to get to breed and likely to snap at any moment.
