Help!

My senegal and endli both have cut up pectoral fins! The senegal's fins have open wounds on the inner portion and the edges of the endli's pectorals are cut as if something were eating it. The two haven't been fighting and the other fish in the tank haven't been touching them. I have seachem onyx substrate and just 2 big pieces of holey rock along with 2 smaller pieces.

What is causing this? Is it the substrate?

its not the because of the substrate maybe its because the are fighting are there any cichlids in the tank?

Polleni is aggressive but he doesn't even look at the polys as a threat to his territory. He only messes with the pike, pbass, and salvani

Maybe... If anyone is nipping at them, it's the salvani, but the open wounds on the senegal looks as if i were to take a knife and slit his fin horizontally.

Hmm I guess it could be any of them since I'm trying to starve them and get them on pellets. The pike and pbass only eat live and sometimes they eat the mysis i put in.

i had a sveni pike that use to leave scars on fish like from hittin so swiftand rapidly>> could b a main suspect

Could be, but he's usually put in check by the salvani and the polleni
