Hello all. I am soon starting a 60 gallon tank i wanted a jag and red devil in them but due to crowding and aggression and the tank being to small i chose to get these three cichlids any ideas for more i am open to all as long as they are south american, central american, and north american. I want this to be a cichlid tank maybe i'll add a placo but for now i am getting these as juveniles and will update you all soon and post videos on youtube of them growing. Please any suggestions anything helps.

1- Jack dempsey
2- Green Terror
3- Firemouth Cichlid
4- open
5-open

Gravel: rocks
Items: rocks, flower pots, cup(s), and fake plants, driftwood

Tank is too small to hold all three species. They'll be OK for a while if you want to grow them out.
You can do Solo GT w/ some dithers or maybe pair of JD's. If you are open to SA cichlids, I'd do group of Geophagus sp. Tapajos w/ pool filter sand as the substrate.

thaks for the information. would it be okay just for three cichlids gt,jd, and fire mouth?

You could do a green terror or a JD and something else that dosn't get way too big. Dimentions?

You could drop the JD or gt idea and get a few smaller cichlids. If you wanted you could get a severum or 2 and get a seganal birchir.
