Fresh water
Ok.
Red tail sharks
Albino rainbow shark
Rainbow shark
Denison torpedo barbs
Tiger barbs
Dwarf gourami
Queen arabesque plecco
Bristlenose plecco cross
Golden algae eater
Electric blue rams
It's heavily planted and haven't added any new plants to this tank in over 7-8 months. I moved my rams and bristlenose into this tank from my grow out tank 5 months ago. And all fish were treated for IP and rams for fungus issues prior to moving to this tank as the only time I treated all fish was when I first got them. One gourami showed signs of IP last month so I treated all fish in tank with metro/focus n since that last month everyone is healthy and gourami has put weight back on. Rams were treated for fungus as a female had cottony growth fungus on her gills before I moved them all into the tank. The grow out tank was having filtration issues from worn out impeller which was the cause n replaced then treated that for a month with API fungal cure and extreme substrate cleaning good water changes and adding a small amount of aquarium salt. Then after treatment waited another month before placing them in.
I had a co2 diffuser break and a few plants lost leaves which clogged filter intake twice which slowed water circulation a lot but this was all in the last 2 months. And this was the only time I ve seen 1 and I ve only seen 1.
I'm curious if it could have been food ? As I have fed blood worms and wonder if one could survive being frozen ? I ve since added More airstones and have my circulation improved and have used a syphon to stir stand.

The only thing I fed live in this tank was before i added the rams and bristlenose and it was live baby brine shrimp and it was only about 3 feedings across 1 week as a trial.
Yes it's the only one I ve found it's difficult to thoroughly search sand in a heavily planted tank with out guttin everything and even then it ll still be difficult sooo I m going to continue turning the sand more often when I do my water changes. I think I'm going to try and instal a under sand filtration system with a power head and some plumbing to see if it will help with anything. Can't see it hurting my system any. It's a possibility about your blood worm theory was that the only one you found? If everyone is healthy and fine I wouldn't worry especially if that was the only one
