i came home from the store and there were kids at the house, they were messing with the heater that was in a tank i touched the water and the water was HOT!! now is just laying on the floor i still see it breathing wat can i do!?!?

OK well.. If the cichla is still in the tank do a water change about 50% or so and add pretty cold water so it balances out. Unplug the heater and you should be good.

do a 25% water change or more, reajust thermostat and add a bit of aquarium salt

Do a large water change and add lot fo cool water, and add him back to the tank. Were they your kids?
