2 weeks ago i decided to repopulate my 75 gallon tank. For the past 2 years
I have only had 2 Plackos in it, which have grown to about 6 inches each. I
picked up 2 Oscars, a Jack Dempsey, a Green Terror and 2 orange colored
Pikes. They were all juviniles, about 2-2 1/2 inches long. However, the
Green terror was a little bigger. My Oscars and my Jack Dempsey are hiding

Your Oscars are not mean enough to hang with the Green Terror, and the JD may not be either, but mine has always held his ground against anything:)

You might divide the tank with a structure or simply rearrange to see if that helps, I dont expect it too, but its worth a try....

I bought an Oscar several years back didnt survive the night, even though the LFS told me all would be fine, I have since learned from these hard mistakes....

i thought that since they were all babies they would have enough room.

Well technically they do have enough room for now, but that tank will have nitrates through the roof and also aggression problems will become even more relavent. I say if your an Oscar person go for just the pair but if you like the colors and aggressiveness of the JD's and GT's go for those two.You may be able to keep the two pike together depending on the Species do you know what they are? Also what species of pleco do you have?

oscars...especially young ones...can take a while to feel comfortable in a new tank. The Green Terror will definetly rule the tank but IME at this young age they should be able to be kept together w/o any major aggression problems, and if they grow up together theres a good chance they will tolerate each other when they mature.

Just give them some time.

And I don't mean to be repetitive but think about getting a bigger tank within the next few months. Your 75 probably looks practically empty now but about six months from now that tank is gonna be REALLLLLL crowded. :)

From my experience, the pikes will handle themselves, against anything as well as the GT will, Oscars just dont adjust fast enough to survive....

I had a GT and a JD in a 55 for almost a year before moving the GT out....

Again, dividing the tank may help with territory issues...
