helped a green terror

well...
i go on craigslist every dang hour or so.. and i finally found a green terror locally!! awesome right... well, sad story, it was getting bullied by the bigger fish... and they need it out.. so i come in, bring it home and now trying to make it all healthy and beautiful again!!
idk if it's a guy or gal.. but it is a biig fish!
the colors started to come in.. but it's still a little rough.

i am in need of some good info on getting a fish to heal faster!
it eats just fine!! lol

It's Male! females orange band on the fins doesn't get that thick.
