I remember reading somewhere that there were fishes that would help peacock bass to not be so shy. I seem to not be able to find this post no more. Does anyone know what fish can help peacocks not be so shy or jumpy? Cause I walk into the room and one of them swims like I'm about to eat it or something. Thanks for the advice in advance.

Dithers help, severums, oscars, silver dollars.....anything with an outgoing personality usually helps, but small cichla are normally jump up until a certain size or until they recognize where their food is coming from.....then they beg.

I have severums with mine and Bala Sharks keeps them active

I use the same equations for all my cichla tanks...silver dollars as dithers and a catfish of some sort to eat leftovers...and in a couple of my tanks I added geos to stir up the sand.
