Hello

Recently I ordered some German Blue Rams and going to breed them, What I need your help with is setting up a ten gallon grow out for their fry. It's starting completely from scratch, no substrate, lights, heaters, filtration, and the most important plants!
Some of you may know GBRs like heavily planted tanks so I'm looking for thick plants which they can seek refuge in. If I can get your suggestions for plants, substrate, fertilizers, heaters, and the most important of all what type of lights.

Thanks for all your help,
Justin

lighting: you can probably get away with the lighting you have b/c it is a small system. you can probably go out to buy specifically a grow bulb at petsmart and etc for the fixture.

fertilizers: excel (optional if you use soil), potassium and flourish (or chelated trace mix)

substrate: ada soil, flourite, schults pond soil, miracle grow organic potting soil (minerialized or not), wormcastings

beginner plants: amazon sword, marmio ball, most bulb plants, crypts, java fern, anubias

heaters: some plants do better in cooler conditions while other do better in warmer
