helpp major cloudyness!!!!

so my sister thought it wuld be nice to feed my catfish and oscar in my 55gallon some salmon chunks....now my tank is extremly cloudy...smells and has the salmon oil at the top of the water....i imediatly did a 15 gallon water change and im hoping it will clear up again.....this is all the next day after it happend....the fish ate it but left about 6-7 pieces at the bottom about the size of your thumb nail and it ruind my tank...any tips or anything to clear it bacxk up and have it normal again??? a 5 gallon water change every day is what im thinkin to do??
 
^^ i did that also =) i just wanna kno if ima be ok and the fish to ....am i on the right track of clearin it up?? i cleand the gravel also with a gravel vac and changed the water and the filter lik i stated above....but it is still very very very cloudy...

Why would you want to do such small water changes?
5-15g are too small to help you, or your fish.
