yeah long story but im in desperate need of advice...

So after months of searching for a RN position (im a new grad in this economy:eek:) I finally got 2 interviews 1 on Tue and 1 today. So bascilly Hosp A is a large teching hospital which I would Love to work for and Hosp B is a nursing home which I dont really care to work for, but in this economy I will take anything. The problem lies in that Hosp A seems like they liked me and said I would be getting a email end of this wk or begining of nxt, But Hosp B just loved me and offered me a position on the spot, but I fibbed and told them I have the interview with Hosp A tomorrow. This seemed to upset them a little because they have to get some started by March 28th. So HR at hosp B told me i have to tell them by tomorrow afternoon!!:( Does anyone know what the legal time frame I have to accept a RN job offer). I also dont want to burn bridges but I have my heart set on Hosp A and i also dont want to say no to Hosp B just incase Hosp A doesn't offer me a position. HELP!

in this economy, take the bird in the hand. they offered a job.. TAKE IT and count your blessings.

Congrats on the accomplishment!

I would take Plan B and keep going w/Plan A. It is hard not to "Burn Bridges" but we have to change the way we think sometimes (me atleast). Learn what you can from Plan B and take what you understand/learned to Plan A when you get the job :D. Always do your best but just remember not to pass up a good opportunity cause then you will be clocking in wishing you took it. Your young and have plenty time to gamble w/decisions :D

That's what I would do fresh out of school :headbang2:

Take the job with B. If A offers you a job, put in your two weeks at B.
This.

Somebody's gotta look out for your own best interests. And these days, it sure as hell won't be any employer. Companies in this current market have no problem cutting you loose if need be. I treat employers the exact same way. Job loyalty is a thing of the past. It's a vicious world we live in ;)

If i do get the offer at Hosp A im going to try to juggle that with Hosp B(which is part time at the moment) just dont know how much sleep im gonna get on some of these days lol

Take the offer at Hosp B. Once Hosp A offer you a job, take it, and juggle both. You a new grad, so you shouldn't sleep that much :D If you can't handle both, the drop the one that you don't like much ;)
