Hemi-syno cat

I got this guy back last summer, before i even setup the pond

He was very skinny back then, hes loads chunkier now

Ive only ever posted pix of him once so i thought id show him off...... hes around 9". Enjoy and comment

Dont see too many about these days Bruce,i remember seeing some 20 years ago in an indoor pond,they were huge,12inches long and nearly the same in body depth,very impressive catfish,i like the similar but smaller catfish Brachysynodontis batensoda too.....nice specimen!

He's lovely bruce , love his barb's . Does he look that blue in the flesh ?

Yes Bruce they do remind you of a Giraffe cat, they do a similar job but dont get as big,one of my old favourites!

Not as so blue but does have a sheen
