Just wondering if anyone keeps them?
Looking for some general info on them.
Read about them on scotcat but would like to know more.
Thanks

I don't know to much but really most fish from the Hemibagrush family is very aggresive. It looks a lot like a bleached out asian to me heres some pics from planetcatfish.com of some:
They grow a little smaller than a real asian red tail but still just as agressive and should be best kept alone.

Pic didnt show up,

But I'm pretty interested in these guys. I just wish they werent so agressive!

Isn't that just the tragedy of all hemibagrids

Yah I know what you mean. I keep mine in a tank by himself everytime I move something he bites me then he realizes its me so he lets me pet him after (gravel or decor) he always moves it back to his liking so I give up. now I let him do what he wants. No sence on going :nilly: for a fish. but I think your better off getting a real ARTC much more beautiful.

If you can't get pics up try clicking on'em or just search the name on Planetcatfish.com they got plenty of pics. Even thoe this thing is evil I love him.:D If you have any other fish then you can take the risk of getting 1 but I warned U.;)

PS I hear they go Okay with gars.

Yah thats the way to go! Nice kitty:D

I'd like an ARTC, but they just get too big.
37'' compared to a Nemerus' 24'' is quite a difference.
