Hemichromis Elongatus (5-Star General) Breeding

I bought these beast from DRB. Awesome fish. I finally had my first batch of fry wooohoo! http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/images/smilies/headbang2.gif They were good and protected for about a week and a half. Then the fry started to disappear. There were like 10 left. I was worried so I moved the other fish. There were only 2 left and it appeared that they were too scared of mama n daddy but I removed them anyway. The next night all traces of fry were gone. I then noticed that the my male started hounding the female so I put the others back in the tank. 2 days later my male lit up once again and I started to get excited cause I thinking that it will be breeding time again but this time it was different he was kicking it with another female. http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/images/smilies/22_yikes.gifI thought that once they paired up they became monogamous.
