Theres a guy on craigslist locally that has a wild caught breeding pair of these guys hes selling. I dont know the details of them yet because its pretty vague. Im waiting on an email now. I cant find a whole lot of specific info on them other then they get about 6-8in and they are mean as hell.

Any one have any more info on them? Tank size diet blah blah blah. Im assuming since they are so closely related to jewels the info would be pretty good but you know how that goes.

if they are a bonded pair then you can keep them in any thing i had my pair of elangotus a closey related fish in a 15 gal and they breed in there. They are real aggressive so better keep by themselves, if not a bonded pair the bigger the tank better and half a divider handy as these guys will kill each other, in the wild the eat tilipia and shrimp so you might have to starve them a little bit to get them to take pellets , but once they take pellets they are not really picky eater
