Hemichromis frempongi

I finally was able to get my hands on these west african jewels. So now i have all three five spot types, hemichromis frempongi , fascitus and elgontus. I have a elgontus pair and a one fascitus , and now six small fempongi hopefully i can get a pair well post pics later.

Love the predatory Hemichromis. Frempongi get the red throut when spawning correct? Or is that fasciatus?

What size tank do you have them in? Are they all in the same tank? I wonder will they let Red Jewel live in the same tank with them?

yeah they both get the red throat and i have mine in a 40 gal breeder with some tilipia busmani and zilli , i think with red jewels it might work for a little while then the would kill them or the red jewels might even kill them when they are young

Any updated pictures? Did you order these online? If so, can you link the site?I'll have a 125g set up here in about a month. I would like to get a hold of a couple. Any info would be great! Can't wait to see some pics
