My unidentified Hemichromis pair spawned yesterday morning, and they've been acting really weird since then. Last night, for instance, the female suddenly began thrashing the male and eating the eggs. This morning I woke up to see the male guarding and fanning the remaining eggs and the female being completely nonchalant; and now there is no longer any aggression between them. What I'm really concerned about is the female's lack of concern for the eggs. She completely ignores the eggs and isn't even in breeding dress. What's wrong with her? Will this pair stay together after this brood?

The first two pics are of the male a few days before they spawned. The last one is of the female yesterday evening while she was still caring for the eggs.
