A local fish store has two of these in right now. I think the common name is topeshark. I not planning to get one but they are realy cool looking. Has anyone had an experience with these sharks? Can you provide some info on them? Like how big they get and growth rates etc.... I think they are around 16" at the store. Someone brought them in as a trade.

Hemitriakis japanica is known as the Japanese Topeshark.
They reach maturity at about 2.6-3 ft, and max out at roughly 4ft long.

There is so little info on the web about them. The sharks I'm talking about are greyish/whiteish and have many pin size spots on them, black in colour. How much do they usually go for?
