*For NOVEMBER end of the month voting*

I am nominating Hendre Hendre for the bronze tier Notable Contributor medal. Hendre has really impressed me over the past few years. He showed up in the forum as a young and enthusiastic new member who wasn't a particular expert, and didn't try to present himself as one. He's paid attention, learned, and grown tremendously in this hobby. Honestly, I wanted to nominate him for the Notable Academic award, but I don't think that he's quite there yet. Still though, Hendre is a perfect example of someone who has embraced the spirit of what it is to be a MONSTER Fish Keeper, and has become a valuable member who really helps to drive conversation forward, particularly in the poly section.

I feel that it is time we recognize and reward his energy. As always however, that is up to the vote.

First are several attempts he's made to push the academic slant on this site. For the most part these didn't take off, but I respect the effort. The knife fish sticky is of sufficient quality that I'd be proud to call it my own however...

Biotope database (unfortunately never took off, but a superb concept)

Book archive (again, didn't really take off, but he tried)

Cool anatomy thread (which didn't take off)

Rack build:

And on to the type of thread where he's driving conversation and generating interest, in accordance with the standard for the Notable Contributor award-

https://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/threads/blue-acara-temperament.692218/

And on top of all that, there's his prolific posting habit over the past nearly three years, contributing quality information throughout the site and driving the conversation in threads forward. I'm not going to provide specific examples of this, because I believe that most people who have been active on this site over the past three years have likely encountered it.

Canada eh
Got my vote for sure. Hendre Hendre was one of the people who welcomed me here. seeing how young he was, just shows to prove that age doesn’t necessarily matter as long as you are contributing useful information.

IMO there are several members that deserve recognition well ahead of this guy. dan518, fathomer, jsowdi, gangster, etc etc. Even duanes and the bigger the better do not have contributor badges, but this guy will? lol
