Is it possible to house a female henlie in a 4' x4' tank? I have the opportunity to get a free 10" henlie, but I don't have the tank. what rubbermaid pond would be suitable for the stingray? Also is it possible to use a AC 110 filter for the stignray? If not then a fluval 405 canister?

the name is henlei

but hey im not the best at spelling to

i would say that tank is to small but should be ok for about 1 year

Rays need lots of filtration, the ac110 AND the 405 would prob be ok for a while. If you are using a stock tank then why not add a pump up to a pond filter and let gravity return it.

As t1 says it is prob a bit small for long term but the 4ft front to back will help a lot and it think it will have quite a lot of swimming room, better than a 6x2

Just remember that you need weekly water changes, lots of filtration and lots of food that is not cheap.
Make sure the filter is mature before adding the ray.

i'd even be wary of using just an ac110 and fluval 405 on a 10 inch ray.
the fluval 405 and an ac70 barely held my 2 juvie 4 inch retics, requiring water changes every 2 days. you'll want more filtration as far as i'm concerned.
