hen's eating habits

it sometimes takes a while for them to beef up dont worry man if they are eating they are good.try power feeding them for a week.feed earth worms,chopped smelts and shrimp and they will for sure grow.try 3 times a day and the last feeding of the day use the worms.every ray i have ever owned will eat worms till they are almost exploding
Definitely not normal, mine were putting on size within a week and a half of being acclimated to my tank. What are you feeding?
ya..... something is wrong. 3months and you feed them that much.. they should have beefed up... you might look into why its not gaining weight... post some pictures of the ray
if they had internal parasites that were bad enough to cause the ray to no put on weight than i doubt the ray would be active at all.
i have had parasites in my rays before and when it happens like intestinal worms the ray becomes very inactive and will barely eat if any at all.
one way to test this theory is look at the tankmates.internal parasites spread easy.likely if one has something like gill flukes or some sort of worms all the others will too.It is also very common for many fish to carry worms and live just fine with them their whole lifes.look at the poop.Just dont do anything to stress out the rays and you should be fine.
hows the ph in your tank? keep it consistant and things will be ok for sure

my old marble would eat till she looked like a ball, i suggest shrimp soaked in vitamins with massivore stuffed inside
