Hello Together,

Building African Erythrinidae bubble?

In a 720 ltr. Basin, I have 3 of the boy (although I have now put the 2 extra females, which was severely mistreated by the other woman). The other two are, above all, the man here to take a breath from the surface and eject them after a short time, leaving the Bläßchen on the surface. It also looks as if the barbels (the so-called at Odoes?) Where the male is much larger than usual)

The basin is by 2 Eheikm interval filter, which filtered on entering the water, in spite of the strong currents until now at least one third of the basin is filled with these little bubbles.

The stupid thing is that the Odoe live with 3 Oscars in this basin, and which are also at the Spawning. Oscars actually live long in the 3 relationship, 2 cleaning the stone and the third is placed against the Ctenoluciidae, and are not afraid to attack the Oscar! All 5 are about 30 cm tall,'m curious about how to proceed.

Gruß Bernd

Hey,

it's a foam nest, which the odoes made to put the eggs in. There are updated pictures now, the juveniles are free swimming.
Unfortunately I don't know anything about water parameters, but the size of the tank in 7'x2'x2'.

*edit* about 3 secs too late ;)

what other type of info is there besides tank size ? did he remove the oscars ?

Now that's something I've never heard of!

I think he hasn't removed the oscars. They are being chased by the female while the male is taking care of the young. Amazing breeding behaviour I haven't heard of before either.

I'll update you on the development.

good update , i think he should remove the oscars into a separate tank
