Hepsetus odoe feeding

hi i have a Hepsetus odoe he is in with my spotted gar and i cant seem to get him to eat i have only had him for 2 days currently im feeding that tank bllod worms meal worms live grass hoppers and crickets prawns and mussels any advice would be good

Try silversides or if it's a small odoe try guppies...and then starve it onto pellets

well its rough estitmate no worries anyway he just downed 3 hoppers and 4 crickets
