hepsetus odoe with bent body

hi,ive owned my odoe for approx 6 weeks and in that time have noticed his body is bent a lot.if you look at him side on,he has a fairly large indentation and if you look at his other side,he has quite a bump.if you look at him head on,his body looks like a s shape.he is approx 6 inches.i know there is nothing i can do,but what do you think is wrong with him????and do you think he will end up being in pain????obviously he has a lot of growing left to do and i dont want him to suffer.sorry no pics at the moment.

its bent pretty badly.do you think it would be kinder to put it out of its misery????it swims and eats ok though.if you look at it from below or above,it looks like an s shape.

i think so,but ive never seen it in any fish before.

probably a birth deformity or might have fallen out of the tank when they were handled....
