So with pearsei and argentea juvies on order, I'm plotting out my best diet plan for these two herbivore/mostly herbivore species, since my current cichlids are more omnivore/carnivore types. I've got some Northfin Veggie pellets on hand right now that I was feeding to my goldfish, and occasionally my cichlids. I will pick up some NLS AlgaeMax pellets, which I was intending to do anyway again as a supplemental food for my goldies and cichlids, but with the intention now of it being more of a staple food for the pearsei and argentea. I like variety though, and both the Northfin and NLS pellets have some animal protein in the mix, so I'm thinking it'll be a good idea to pick up some Repashy Super Green gel mix which has zero animal protein at all, and use these three foods as my regular line up for the pearsei and argentea. Valid plan?
