Here are my baby reds! I have had them for a couple of weeks now. The biggest one is around 1.5 in and the smallest is around 1 in. I feed them raw shrimp, talipia, blood worms, pellets, flakes, and beefheart. Any advice on other things to do or feed these babies would be helpful. Thanks. This is also just a temporary tank they will be moved into my 55 gallon soon. Also the water is dark due to the blackwater extract i put in there. Thanks again.

what size tank are you going to put them in after they outgrow the 55?
 
sounds good, mine are gonna be ready for the move to a big tank pretty soon here, they grow so damn fast and i think the batch i have now are the fastest growers i've ever had.

Exactly how fast are they growing? How long have you had them? What are you doing and feeding to grow faster and I have seen some of your pics what are you doing for color? Your p's have amazing color and I would love to get some advice from you. I am quite jelous haha.
 
i've been raising these ones since the end of october/early november from about a half an inch and they are now about 5" tl. i attribute most of their growth and color to water quality, i don't feed them any more than other people feed theirs.
