I got it at Tongs Tropical in Fountain Valley, CA.
I have read a lot of articles saying that males have spots all over their bodies (above and below the lateral line) and also on the unpaired fins and females do not have spots (or only few spots below the laternal lines).
However, this one has a few spots above the lateral line but the bulk of the spots are below the line. It also has a lot of spots on the unpaired fins.
I don't think you'll need to look anymore but as said in a previous message, some of these fellas don't exactly follow the typical sexing rules lol. I had a male a few years ago at that size... looked a lot like this one. Feed good quality food and frequently, keep water in A1 shape and watch (what I feel is a he) grow quicky. Update soon!!!
