Algerian airline officials have lost contact with one of their planes,Flight AH5017 as it was homeward bound from Burkina Fasso,no word on how many passengers are aboard.Contact was lost about fifty minutes after takeoff.

Guys this is making me crazy all these flights going down. I fly 80,000 plus miles a year for work and I never have had anxiety flying (been doing it all of my life). But lately, I can't help but wonder every other weekend when I board a plane of I'm going to be OK. Just like driving cars there's some risk, this stuff just makes it fresh on my mind.
Did you hear about the dad from Indiana who tried to fly around the world with his 17 year old son as the pilot? They crashed the other day over the Pacific, sad.

Wow,didn't hear that one but I wanted to mention in the other thread about the Dutch cyclist who was supposed to be on both Malaysian flights that recently went down but due to scheduling problems he didn't make it on to them...Lucky him hunh?
