I've had this 55 gal up and running for the past 6 months and has held a breeding guppy colony. Besdies guppies, it has also held a pair of rainbow cichlids, and bristlenose pleco.
Current stocklist is:
Fish
1 - Honduran Redpoint Cichlid (3.5")
3 - bristlenose plecos (2")
1 - Panaque (Royal) Pleco
5 - green corys (1-2")
1 - "salt & Pepper Cory (1.5")
1 - julii cory (1")
1 - corydoras sterbai (2")
50+ - common & fancy guppies
Plants
amazon swords
1 lbs of anacharis
Jungle Vals
Dwarf sag
Hornwort
Pennywort
anubias nana (attached to wood)
phillup fern (attached to wood)
Right now this tank holds all of my relatively peaceful fish that haven't paired up. It also contains my first attempt at having a school of corydoras composed of different species. So far the 5 green have been the friendliest, but the others have all been relatively friendly as well. The guppies will be rehomed into a 35 tall that is currently cycling. If i can eventually get the corys to successfully school then they'll stay in this tank, if not the non-green corys will be returned and i may make an attempt at breeding the greens that I do have. I also have a LFS that sells greens for $2 so if i want more they're not far away.
