it looks like not very many people know how to embed videos.

all u have to do is click on the youtube icon on here. and in between u ONLY copy the last few numbers/letters of the youtube link after the = sign

for example: the youtube link is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVFTYzNHHRY

u ONLY copy the last digits after the = so u only copy oVFTYzNHHRY in, the no more no less.

[YT]oVFTYzNHHRY[/YT]

remember ONLY copy the digits AFTER the = sign.

LOL,easy peasy.

or highlight and copy the whole url, click the "insert video" button and paste the whole url

hit enter

voila!

btw, a lot of people don't know this but there is a thread with step by step instructions with pictures on how to post pictures and videos

what I've seen in the past is, if you use the "insert video" button to post a video, everyone on desktop or mobile can see the video

if you use the youtube tags with the characters after the "=" then some members, whom I won't name at this time, on their lame mobiles can't see the video and you get a bunch of whining booger babies

guilty by response was my approach.

and here you are

I didn't mention any names, but if your conviction compelled you to respond, then well...........

As Sumo said there's a thread about embedding vids on MFK and it's stickied in several locations. There's one in the Video Lounge and in the Comments, Bugs and Suggestions and in The General Aquaria Section under Frequently Asked Questions just to name the one's I can think of off the top of my head.

gee why didn't u show this to me along time ago............. thanks
