heres my stock list planned for the new 72gal bowfront. this is gonna be a show tank i guess in my living room.
2xafrican butterfly fish
1xsenegal bichir
1xalbino senegal bichir
5xclown loaches, grow out
1xsmall eel zig zag or peacock
1x african brown knife
shoal of tetras any ideas? thinking congo

kinda goin with an african/oddball theme

will be filtered by an fx5 poolfilter sand as substrate, planning on doing plants prolly low to mid light plants.

anything you would add or change?

sounds good. make sure you get your peacock eel to eat before you put him in the display tank. They normally only take worms

ahh my tire track wont take worms anymore only my DIY food dont see why i couldnt get a zig zag or peacock to do the same

sounds like a good list, and agree with congos as the schoolers, but I imagine some might get picked off at some point.

I assume the bichirs, I've had senegal that took out small fish.

congo tetras get fairly big for a tetra, my senegal will take out guppies but doesnt bother my baby pbass

an FX5 is a ton of filtration for a 72! Talk about a clean tank haha nice

We had one back in my store that would get some pretty big feeder goldfish...but I guess if the congos are full grown it would also be hard to catch them anyway.

May just use an AC110 on the tank instead and congo tetras get fairly large so lets hope they dont get eaten and with the way my fish go nuts over my DIY food i would be surprised if it goes after them
