Comments please. I am not even going to attempt to vent him/her, but I do have a pic that could help determine gender. This fish is in the 6-7 inch range. I hope it develops a hump! :D

I don't know what he is for sure. I purchased "him" at Petsmart in June. He was only a three incher then. He does have nice lips, but seems fuller bodied than some rd's I've seen. More than likely mix, especially considering where I got him. On another note, he is "pretty" aggressive. I have him in a 120 (4x2x2) and can see him being the only fish in it some day. He leaves seems to target one fish and leave the others along. Then he will chill out for awhile and find another fish to terrorize.

I have never sexed an RD or Midas before but I want to say it is a female. The large round belly and extended genital papilla leads be to think it is egg laden.
