been wondering about this for a while now, i change out about a third of the water a week on my 180g, i add " waterlife haloex " dechlorinator and conditioner and circulate for 24-48 hours in a tub before every wc. my Q is, is it necessary to circulate at all ? is the conditioner instantanious ? how long does it take to work on fresh tap water ?

any thoughts are appreciated, thanks.

so i'm basically wasting my time circulating it then. just get it up to temp. and do it then

thanks.

by circulating it for 48 hours you will already be getting rid of chlorie, natrually. however the water will still consist of chloramine and heavy metals which is why we use prime
