My friend who owns an lfs had a guy turn this oscar in. It was kept he thinks in a 29 gallon and was done so for years. It lacked regular water changes. This fish is maybe 7-8 inches in length and at its age should be 12 inches or more. His HITH has healed up and he's active. Just very stunted...

Looks like a short body... i dont think it had anything to do with tank size.

Lools to almost be a SB Oscar as well. Nice color.
 
He was in pretty crappy shape when he came in, so he assumed stunted.

Pretty neat a 29 is not bad for that type of fish seen worse but 55 gallon is ideal for SB and normal body 125
