I apologize to everyone! I had been discussing this fish for a week now.. And I did not believe I had what I now believe I have. But it was brought to my attention tonight by a member that I have great respect for and trust in this area of ID. He stated that my fish looks to be Carpinte.
I did some more research as I thought she should be more blochy.. But I found a female in my aqua log and she looks exactly the same. Carpinte are very rare to the point of un heard of except for Marcus here in this state. And his left a couple years ago.. So I was easily swayed away from that.
I had a female Cyanoguttatus a year or two ago and they were night and day ... Still I would rather have called her a Cyano and been wrong than to call her a Carpinte and been wrong.. I reported the original post to hopefully have the title changed.. I apologize once again to those that have posted and to the site for sending out mis info
Hopefully I have righted this
She is still beautiful Though I think I am happier now
