Herichthys pantepec/turquiose or deppi

I have been thinking about getting one or the other for my 72g bowfront. I have been trying to get info on their size and aggression.
I also wanted to add a t. passiones, and a t. mextico gold. Would this work?
 
No problem. Ihavnet had deppi so I dont really know, but you are right about the pantepecs aggression, according to everyone on MFK. Its right along with the carpintis in aggression. A cyano in a 72 might not allow you to keep any other cichlids with him at all, regardless of their aggression level, especially if it is over 4 or 5 inches. If it were me and i wanted tank mates, Id get a cool smaller growing pleco of some sort and maybe try some neets (they are pretty tough and aggressive cichlids) or hrps, although thats really pushing it in a 72. There are some cyanos on here that are 12+ inches.

My cyano was a 10'' female, and she would even try to bite me while cleaning the tank. From what I've read, deppi don't seem to get ast big (female 6'' and males 8'') as other herichthys or as aggressive. Still, I may have to keep a single fish or do something like you suggested with the HRPs or neets. I do have a female HRP, and really love that fish.
I have been also considering a thorichthys community tank, but not sure if that would work either.
I really miss my cyano..

I ordered a few of each from Rapps about a month ago and have since lost 1 of the H. Pantepec Turquiose. Right now I currently have 3 Deppi and 1 Turquiose. I love the personalities of the Deppi alot but they are really small right now.
