Herichthys sp. ? ID please

Hello,guys!
I got this fish labeled as "Herichthys sp." from LFS two months ago.
He/She is pretty active and eats like a pig Actually 7 inches, He/She is the dominant fish of my CA/SA cichlids tank (My other cichlids are still juvenile though)

Can you ID this fish please and tell me eventually its sex?

Thanks for the opinions. It doesn't have pointed dorsal fin, could it be a female ?
