What kind of hericthys? Not to familiar with the different species. Bought as carpintis but I'm questioning it. Big female. Shes ready to lay eggs. Help!

Nothing at the moment. Only cichlid in the tank. Shes with fancy plecos. I bought her at my local fish store. She had a mate. The lady who owned them raised them in a 20 long for 2 years. They bred in it and everything! Crazy.. but she donated them to the pet shop and the male died within 24 hours and I went and picked her up. Shes about 7-8 inches. In the process of trying to find her a decent quality male
