I have a tank with a larger hermit crab in the tank, I am a bit concerned because the coral banded shrimp that where in the tank mysteriously are destroyed.
The Crab has brown bands on the legs and claws, on a light brown/white body. and just above the claspper claws on the joints, there are pink bands. The claws and feet are covered in what looks like hair. The claws are smaller. And it is at the moment about 2-3x larger then a blue leg or Halloween hermit.
I understand this is the harder way of figuring out an id on this crab, but if you guys could point me in the right direction I hopefully can figure out which one it is. It will be a few weeks before I could get a pic of it.
