This five year old pair of Green severums until now, had spent their entire lives in a 90G tank with a mix of other efasciatus and H. notatus. When they were younger, they were spawning machines. But for the last couple of years, they have not spawned (at least that I know of), maybe due to the additional presence of several Caquetaia kraussi. Well, I just set up a new 180G and they, along with several other SA cichlids, were moved to this new home. That was three days ago when the "rehoming" occurred. Without delay, the pair found a secluded corner and spawned. Here they are, like old times, hovering over their latest treasures.
